The opening scenario of this semi-biblical production is the Golgota scene, where Jesus Christ is being crucified on Holy Friday. We meet Roman soldiers and Marcellus Gallio, a Roman Tribune, who bet on Jesus’ robe and eventually wins it. Giuseppe from Arimatea warns Marcellus about this robe and expresses: “keep hold of it. Those who touch the robe find healing”. What kind of healing? Is Marcellus sick? What role does the robe play in Marcellus’ life?
