On Saturday 24th September Ghaqda Drammatika Xewkija will bring an end to the Summer Drama Workshops with a show dedicated entirely to these young students who twice a week met with Vanessa Attard (the workshop's tutor) to improve and learn drama skills. In this show, the students will produce a play written by Trevor Zahra "Is-Sultan u l-Kaptan" and will be later presented by a certificate of partecipation and attendance by the same Ghaqda. |

The drama workshops organized by Ghaqda Drammatika Xewkija during the summer months for local children are going on with the sessions being held twice a week at Teatru Govanni Centru Parrokjali Xewkija. All sessions are two hours long with the first hour being dedicated to drama games, while during the second hour students are rehearsing for a short production which is expected to be staged on Saturday 24th September.

As from the first week of August, Ghaqda Drammatika Xewkija will be holding a series of Drama Work Shops at Teatru Govanni, Centru Parrokjali Xewkija, open for students between the ages of 8 and 16 years. Apart from being given precious insight about theatre and drama, the students will also be rehearsing a short production which will be viewed at the end of September in an evening dedicated entirely to these students.

and return it by not later than Thursday 28th July. Form 1, 2 and 3 students will be credited for participating in these workshops on their School Leaving Certificate as part of the Non-Formal Activities.

Ghaqda Drammatika Xewkija released the official poster for their next theatrical production, Grajjietna. Ghaqda Drammatika Xewkija will present highlights from this success musical, originally productuced by Radju Prekursur. Preparations are well under way under the direction of Mario Borg assisted by Marita Caruana.

After 'L-Iben ta' Hadd', which was produced in the last weeks, Ghaqda Drammatika Xewkija are heading towards their final project of this theatrical season with the re-staging of some episodes of the musical 'Grajjietna', which was already staged in 2007 by Radju Prekursur as part of the celebrations of the10th Birthday of the local radio station.
